It's a ponderosa lemon tree. Had it since 2015. Bugs started to get to it earlier this year when I sat it outside for a bit (thus be all the spots on it).

  1. Did you grow it from seed or from a nursery tree?? I’m surprised it took you so long to get a lemon!! They are quite big so just one lemon can take a lot for the tree to make—but with proper fertilizer, light, and care, I’ve seen my neighbors here in NYC grow small 3-4’cu ft bushes with a handful of lemons on them! I’m currently growing a ‘variegated’ lemon that I’ve been babying for the past 3-4 years from Home Depot… and still no fruit…. Even though my ‘Bears’ lime fruited last year (and was bought around the same time).

I’ve been awake for only 10 min or so, and I read this as, “I finally harvested my first demon!”

I still said, “Good for you, friend. Good for you.”

    Congrats on your non-demon lemon!

  3. Congratulations. My first thought was to watch out for Lemon Stealing Wh**s!

OP, I’m dying to see the inside of it! My daughter and I have a bunch of lemon babies. She loves to plant all the seeds we come across. Maybe by the time she graduates, we’ll have a lemon too (she’s six) 😆
